The Oda Journal of Science, Technology and Humanities (OJSTH) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, multidisciplinary academic journal published by Oda Bultum University, Ethiopia. The journal is committed to promoting scholarly excellence, ethical research practices, and the wide dissemination of high-quality research outputs.

Editorial Policy

OJSTH maintains full editorial independence. Editorial decisions are based solely on the scholarly merit of manuscripts, including originality, methodological rigor, relevance, clarity, and contribution to knowledge. The journal does not discriminate based on authors’ gender, nationality, institutional affiliation, ethnicity, religion, or political beliefs.

Peer Review Policy

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts. Editorial decisions include acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection, based on reviewers’ recommendations and editorial judgment.

Publication Ethics and Malpractice Policy

OJSTH adheres to internationally recognized publication ethics and best practices. Authors are required to submit original work that has not been published or submitted elsewhere. Plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, redundant publication, and unethical research practices are strictly prohibited. Any allegations of misconduct are handled transparently and in accordance with established ethical guidelines.

Authorship and Conflict of Interest

Authorship should accurately reflect individuals’ contributions to the research. All authors must approve the final manuscript before submission. Authors, reviewers, and editors are required to disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest that could influence the evaluation or interpretation of the work.

Open Access Policy

OJSTH is an open-access journal, providing immediate and free access to all published articles without subscription or registration barriers. This policy aims to enhance the visibility, accessibility, and impact of scholarly research, particularly in developing and low-resource contexts.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal the right to publish and distribute the article. Proper acknowledgment and citation of published works are required. Reuse of content must comply with the journal’s licensing terms.

Confidentiality Policy

Editors and reviewers treat all submitted manuscripts as confidential documents. Manuscript content is used solely for scholarly evaluation and is not shared or used for personal or professional advantage.

Publication Frequency

The journal is published biannually, with issues released in February and September, in both online and print formats.
