For Reviewers

Reviewers play a vital role in ensuring the academic quality, integrity, and credibility of the Oda Journal of Science, Technology and Humanities (OJSTH). By providing objective, timely, and constructive evaluations, reviewers support informed editorial decisions and contribute to the advancement of scholarly knowledge.

Role Focus: Quality assurance, ethical review, and constructive feedback
Timeliness: Reviews are expected within the agreed timeframe
Confidentiality: Mandatory throughout the review process

Key Responsibilities

Manuscript Evaluation
Evaluate manuscripts objectively using the journal’s review guidelines, criteria, or standardized checklist.
Timely Review
Complete reviews within the specified timeframe and submit detailed reports to the Associate Editors and/or Editor-in-Chief.
Confidentiality
Treat all manuscripts and associated materials as strictly confidential documents before, during, and after the review process.
Declining Reviews
Promptly decline review invitations if the manuscript is outside your expertise, anonymity is compromised, or time constraints exist.
Responsible Use
Refrain from copying, reproducing, sharing, or misusing any part of the manuscript content for personal or professional gain.
Ethics & Conflicts of Interest
Respect authors’ intellectual independence and declare any actual or potential conflicts of interest to the editor.

By performing their duties professionally and ethically, reviewers contribute significantly to maintaining and continuously improving the scholarly quality, credibility, and reputation of the journal.
